Wastequip has an immediate opening for an Automation Engineer. The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of the plant's Automation/robotic equipment, electronic control systems, equipment, and machinery. Travel to other sites is required (35% travel). This is a full-time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more.

This position will sit at the Tyler, TX location.
** Responsibilities
* * Safeguard all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.

Must be able to influence and work through others will be critical for your success. You will have new problems and learn new skills daily.
** Qualifications
* * Minimum of 3 years in a hands-on Automation engineering role
-or-4+ years of experience as an automation technician is required.

Experience and proficiency with ABB industrial robots is required.

Experience and proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal is required.
