As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing industrial power systems and modular packages. This role supports project safety, constructability, and performance across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Renewable projects.
What You'll Do- Develop electrical engineering deliverables including SLDs, load lists, calculations, cable sizing and routing, lighting layouts, and grounding/lightning protection systems.
- Perform short‑circuit, coordination, voltage‑drop, motor‑starting, arc‑flash, and lighting calculations using ETAP and SKM.
- Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions for MV/LV switch gear, transformers, motors, UPS, VFDs, and lighting systems.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE, API standards and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Support vendor clarifications, review vendor drawings, and assist with construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Estimate man‑hours for project proposals and support field installation teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10–20 years of Oil & Gas/Industrial/EPC experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and strong NEC code knowledge.
- Hands‑on experience with ETAP/SKM, strong Excel capability, and fluency in English.
- Experience selecting and sizing electrical equipment and performing hazardous area classifications.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, writing, time‑management, and project‑planning skills.
