The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across production, quality, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, results-driven, and capable of managing both projects and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the manufacturing engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and quality.
  • Implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and validation of new equipment and production lines.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, process documentation, and training programs.
  • Manage engineering projects, budgets, and timelines to meet production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive technology adoption and automation initiatives to improve operational performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience with process design, automation, equipment selection, and facility layout.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
