Job Overview
- The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and tooling functions to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.
- This role oversees process development, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with plant goals across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- This is a full-time, on-site leadership role reporting directly to plant leadership.
- Lead and develop Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Tooling teams; establish clear expectations and accountability.
- Own manufacturing processes, including design, optimization, and ongoing performance.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Manage tooling and die operations, including design, fabrication, and continuous improvement.
- Lead capital projects such as new product introductions, equipment installations, automation, and capacity expansions.
- Ensure process capability and product quality through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, including machine guarding and LOTO procedures.
- Manage budgets related to engineering, maintenance, tooling, and capital expenditures.
- Track and report key performance metrics such as OEE, downtime, and project execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
