The Senior Pipe Designer is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Tyler, TX. This position is responsible for developing detailed piping layouts and 3D models for gas processing plants and related facilities, ensuring designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. Day‑to‑day tasks include producing piping isometrics and general arrangement drawings, coordinating with engineering disciplines and project managers, and supporting construction teams with clear, accurate design documentation.

The Senior Pipe Designer will review vendor data, perform field walkdowns, assist with design changes, and contribute to project scheduling and cost considerations. Collaboration, attention to detail, and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders are key components of the role.

• Strong proficiency in piping design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, CADWorx, or similar 3D modeling platforms) and ability to produce detailed drawings and isometrics.
• Solid understanding of piping codes and standards, material specifications, and mechanical design principles relevant to natural gas and hydrocarbon processing facilities.
• Experience interpreting P&IDs, equipment drawings, and vendor documents, and translating them into accurate piping layouts and general arrangements.
• Effective collaboration skills for working with process, mechanical, structural, and electrical engineers, as well as construction and operations teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to accuracy, safety, and constructability in design work.
• Several years of progressively responsible experience in piping design within the oil & gas, midstream, or related industries; senior‑level project experience preferred.
• Relevant technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in engineering design, drafting, or a related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Tyler, TX, perform occasional field visits, and adapt to changing project priorities and timelines.
