(AFJMc), a full-service consulting engineering firm based in Shreveport, LA with over 6 5 years of industry experience. This merger expands our team's capabilities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, transportation, and surveying disciplines - and we're excited to bring even more resources, expertise, and opportunity to our clients and our people.

We're looking for a Structural Engineer to join our growing team and help us continue delivering high-quality design across commercial, industrial, governmental, and institutional projects.

The Role

Location: This position is based out of our Tyler, TX office .

As a Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for structural engineering analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and light-gauge metal structures, as well as producing structural drawings for a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural engineering analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and light-gauge metal systems
  • Produce and review structural drawings and calculations
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal design teams on project delivery
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • 3-5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, ideally in Texas and/or Louisiana
    ; candidates holding an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification are also encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience with structural engineering analysis and design software preferred
