Salary Range:
Construction Records Auditor I (B18): $45,521 - $71,055
Work Location: 2709 WEST FRONT STREET, Tyler, 75702
Minimum Salary: 45,521.00
Maximum Salary: 71,055.00
Pay Basis: Yearly
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Travel: Yes, 10% of the time
Shift: Day
Shift Details: 40 hours - Monday through Friday 8-hour days

Audits construction project records; verifies contractor compliance with state and federal requirements and trains others. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
- Assists with Federal Highway Administration and departmental reviews of construction records and may act as liaison with this agency.
- Monitors material testing requirements, results and reports for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Participates in meetings regarding contract administration.
- Performs and reviews construction records audits and coordinates with area engineers on monthly and final estimates, change orders, supplemental agreements and work orders.
- Trains less experienced recordkeepers and records auditors.
- Verifies contractors' compliance with federal requirements for EEO and on-the-job training, Disadvantaged Business.
- Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Education: High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies.
Licenses and CertificationsValid driver’s license at tie of application. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
