Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and a TX state PT license.

Job Details

• Position is based in an acute care hospital setting,

• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30,

• Physical therapy unit focused on acute care patients,

• Epic EMR is used; prior Epic experience is preferred,

Job Requirements

• Current and valid TX state license required if applicable,

• BLS certification required,

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent physical therapy experience required,

• Prior travel therapy experience is preferred but not required,

• Experience using Epic EMR preferred,

Additional Information

• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted,

• Former permanent staff must have a one year separation before eligibility as a traveler,

• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation,

• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted,

• Travelers residing in certain counties are not eligible for contract consideration,

• First-time travelers will be considered for this role,
