Job Details / Responsibilities- Perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and demonstration for patients according to established plans of care
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist during patient evaluations, testing, and complex procedures
- Carry out programs of corrective exercise, therapeutic activities, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions accurately, and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management strategies
- Maintain equipment, ensure a clean and safe treatment environment, and comply with all regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Participate in departmental quality improvement and continuing education activities
- Active Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) license in Texas required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS certification required
- New graduates welcome; 1+ years of experience preferred (inpatient or outpatient)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time schedule with potential varied shifts or weekends as needed
