Position Summary
The PRN Medication Aide supervises self-administered medication for Assisted Living residents, ensuring compliance with Federal & State regulations and organizational guidelines. They report health changes, respond to emergencies, and maintain communication with staff and departments.
Responsibilities Include- Supervising medication administration and documenting resident health updates
- Responding swiftly to emergencies and maintaining safety protocols
- Providing educational sessions for residents and staff
- Upholding confidentiality and adhering to policies and procedures
- Participating in training, maintaining a safe environment, and fostering a positive demeanor
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 months related experience or training
- Licensed CNA, Home Health Aid, or Personal Care Aid with certification in medication administration approved by the Department of Health and Senior Services
