Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital in Tyler, TX.
The Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation services to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. This role focuses on improving mobility, restoring function, and supporting patient recovery through individualized, evidence-based therapy interventions.
The therapist will work closely with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

- Orthopedic and post-surgical conditions
- Neurological disorders (stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, MS)
- General medical conditions
- Mobility and functional impairments
- Perform patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation (Epic)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge planning
- Active Texas Physical Therapist License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Previous travel experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
40 hours guaranteed per week
Monday – Friday schedule
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
No specific weekend requirement mentioned
- Candidates must not reside in restricted counties

Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris - Travel experience preferred but not required
