• UT Health East Texas is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, nearly 7,000 employees and over 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. UT Health East Texas provides healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service.

• Provides a world-class patient experience through positive phone, chat, and email interactions and continuously elevates patient satisfaction and experience.
• Effectively operating the switchboard system, including answering and transferring calls as well as utilisation of overhead paging system.
• Displays highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to patients, clinics, and colleagues.
• Effectively navigate ancillary systems in order to locate patient room information, clinical contact numbers, etc.
• Maintains high level of productivity while managing tasks to ensure timeliness of service.
• Partners effectively with leadership, peers, and support staff to achieve departmental goals.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in related field of study
• 1+ year healthcare background/experience and/or call center experience
