Position: Scheduler - Contract

Job Title: Medical Scheduler (Contract)
Location: East Texas
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Duration:4-Month Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Medical Scheduler for a 3-month contract assignment. This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both patients and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Coordinate provider calendars and optimize daily schedules
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation
  • Communicate appointment details, instructions, and follow-ups with patients
  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Maintain accurate records within the scheduling system or EMR
  • Assist with referrals, authorizations, and general administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of medical scheduling, medical office, or healthcare administrative experience
  • Familiarity with EPIC system and medical terminology preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
