Position OverviewThe Supply Chain Manager serves as the operational heartbeat of our procurement, vendor relations, logistics, and supply chain execution. This highly visible leadership role directly impacts manufacturing continuity, customer service, cost management, and overall corporate EBITDA.

- Drive Accountability:
Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. - Performance Management:
Provide ongoing coaching, clear metrics, and constructive feedback to maximize employee engagement and long-term retention. - Culture & Safety:
Promote safety, quality, and operational excellence through daily cross-functional leadership. - Operational Excellence & Manufacturing Continuity
- Supply Security:
Fulfill manufacturing demands by securing raw materials and supplies in strict alignment with production schedules. - Inventory & Logistics:
Oversee purchase order execution to maintain optimal inventory levels while optimizing transportation logistics for timely, cost-effective material flow. - Disruption Mitigation:
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve logistics challenges and supply chain bottlenecks. - Strategic Vendor & Supplier Management
- Partnership Building:
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure pricing stability and delivery reliability. - Risk Mitigation:
Maintain a diversified, competitive, and active supplier base to protect the organization from single-source vulnerabilities. - Contract Negotiation:
Lead negotiations for cost-effective agreements while holding vendors accountable to strict quality and delivery benchmarks. - Financial Stewardship & Cost Control
- Spend Optimization:
Analyze supplier pricing trends and develop best pricing practices to improve the overall cost of goods and services (COGS). - Financial Alignment:
Partner closely with the Finance team to track, analyze, and report on purchasing and logistics expenditures. - Value Creation:
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives that directly support corporate bottom-line growth. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Internal Liaison:
Act as the central communication bridge connecting the Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Finance teams. - Data-Driven Insights:
Present clear procurement metrics, supply chain forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Industry Footprint: 7-10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or operations leadership experience-ideally within industrial manufacturing, processing, or related sectors.
- People Leadership: 5+ years of direct experience managing and developing teams in high-urgency, fast-paced environments.
- Sourcing Mastery:
Proven track record in strategic sourcing, multi-site contract negotiations, and multi-facility inventory management. - Business Acumen:
Strong financial fluency with experience tracking cost drivers and contributing to EBITDA improvement goals. - Systems Capability:
High proficiency in ERP systems, procurement reporting tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred. - Certifications:
APICS (CPIM/CSCP), CPSM, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications are highly advantageous.
