Our client, a well-respected CPA firm in East Texas, is looking for an Audit Senior Manager who wants real ownership.
You will lead audit engagements with autonomy, guide a strong team, and partner directly with clients who value insight and relationship, not just compliance.

What You Will Do- Lead full-cycle audit engagements across a diverse client base
- Coach, mentor, and develop seniors and staff with clear growth pathways for them and for you
- Set and uphold high standards in planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client relationships
- Review complex work papers and provide insight, not just edits
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and add value beyond the audit by providing consulting services around buy-sell transactions, M&A activities, etc.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong audit focus
- Proven supervisory or management experience
- Active CPA license
- Ability to balance leadership, client communication, and technical excellence
- A present, engaged leader who enjoys developing people, not managing from behind the curtain
- Direct interaction with firm leadership and meaningful input into client strategy
- Clear path toward Principal or Partnership role based on performance and individual desire
