Overview
Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.
Responsibilities- Perform mat rolling by machine, by hand on inverted table, or stacking on pallet.
- Place mats into a cage near the table or onto a lift table if using a mat rolling machine.
- Place mat with the rubber side up to manually roll or step on a foot pedal to roll using a machine.
- Monitor for quality while rolling and identify and segregate mats that do not meet quality requirements in terms of stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, or if wet.
- Accurately verify mat by size, color, and type, and place mats on the correct storage shelves.
- Maneuver full and empty carts.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and observe best practices in all production activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Meet attendance schedule.
- Work is based on a shift schedule and may include weekends.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Work is performed in a warehouse setting and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise.

- Position involves repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift.
- Requires bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting.
- Requires the use of hands for grasping and other manipulations.
- Requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Requires ability to push carts weighing approximately 300 lbs.
High school degree or equivalent preferred.
