Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Compensation will be based on experience, with starting pay at $17.25 per hour and increasing based on skill level and qualifications.
The CNC Mill Operator is responsible for operating CNC milling machines within the mill room to produce high-quality machined parts. This role includes powering up and maintaining machines, loading and running programs from USB or server, and creating or modifying programs for new or updated parts. The operator will prepare materials, load and secure raw stock, set up tooling, and ensure proper offsets are applied according to program requirements.
This position also requires completing all required documentation accurately and on time while following all company policies and maintaining a safe work environment. The role involves working with heavy production equipment, standing for extended periods, and lifting materials as needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Technical training or certification in machining or CNC operation is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, along with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
