The position is located in Tyler, Texas and the work is onsite: five days a week.
Toolmaker / Machinist (A/B)- Second and third shift, with overtime available.
- Toolmaker A: $34.98/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential.
- Toolmaker B: $33.03/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential.

As a Toolmaker/Machinist, you will develop, make, modify, and repair complicated tools that help us build world‑class products. These tools may include jibs, fixtures, and all types of combination and progressive dies for piercing, blanking, and drawing. Responsibilities may be modified depending on job requirements and business needs.
- Make complex set‑ups on a variety of tool‑room machinery.
- Exercise extreme accuracy and skill working from plans such as drawings, sketches, instructions, and blueprints.
- Sketch modifications made to parts for print updates.
- Graduate Apprentice with 4+ years of practical experience, or Toolmaker/Machinist B with 2+ years’ experience in die making and repair work.
- Successfully worked on complex tool‑making projects.
- Used complex shop math including trigonometry and has working knowledge of a tool room, production machines and methods.
- Graduate Apprentice (or 6 years documented equivalent experience with a variety of equipment), or Toolmaker/Machinist C with one year of practical related experience in die making and repair work.
- Evidence of ability in shop math, including trigonometry.
- Ability to make complex set‑ups on a variety of tool‑room machinery.
- Demonstrated performance and ability to perform work of a difficult nature.
- Commit to completion of the following technical college courses over a two‑year period:
Computer Aided Design (CAD), Numerical Control (NC).
- Graduate of a two‑year formal technical program in precision machining technology or equivalent, with proof of completion of Basic Math, Trigonometry, Basic Welding, CAD, NC, CAM.
Yes. The company designates certain roles as Safety Sensitive. Safety Sensitive roles may require that you pass additional drug screening.
CompensationHourly Base Pay Range: $33.03 – $34.98. Additional $1.00 shift differential applicable. Incentive and sales commission not offered.
