Loader - 2nd Shift

Overview

This position is responsible for the pulling/picking and loading of all outbound shipments and unloading/movement of all inbound deliveries to the facility.

• Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments by destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
• Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
• Move products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
• Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label.
• Material handling of all products.
• Follow shipping work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
• Strong problem-solving skills and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions.

• 1-10 LBS
• 11-20 LBS
• 21-40 LBS
• 41-50 LBS
• 51+ LBS

• Pushing or pulling: 1-40 LBS; 41-50 LBS; 51+ LBS

• Bending or stooping, reaching above shoulder level, driving automatic equipment vehicles, operating machinery or power tools

• Walking, standing, sitting, working in extreme temperatures

• Repetitive motion (wrists, hands, and/or fingers), vision, hearing, dexterity, hand-eye coordination

This role is performed onsite at the facility located at 10551 Pac Rd, Tyler, TX 75707.

• Hourly rate: 21.32 USD
