General Production Manager- Shipping Department- Center, TX- 2nd shift

Tyson Foods -  - Responsibilities:
Direct and train supervisors in all facets of production operations, including paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, and safety;
Ensure daily production orders are fulfilled and that every position is filled before start-up of the production line;
Oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to improve ergonomics;
Ensure all machinery is performing to the highest standard and all workstations pass USDA inspections;
Promote safety through daily practices and monthly safety meetings;
Ensure accurate shipments, rotation of inventory, and proper coding of products;
Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members;
Provide encouragement to Team Members to build a strong team;
Perform human relations functions including training, retaining, and counseling team members on personal and professional issues;
Oversee processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to resolve problems;
Maintain records of reworked or returned products and educate on quality standards;
Perform other responsibilities as needed
