CNC Brake Press Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Tyler, TX
Pay: $15.75 - $16.50 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime Opportunities Available Overtime may be required based on production needs. Friday and Saturday overtime shifts are typically scheduled from 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Brake Press Operator to join a manufacturing/fabrication shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC equipment, reading blueprints, and working in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Power up and safely power down CNC Brake Press equipment.
- Call up, load, and run machine programs.
- Set up tooling and install necessary tools for production runs.
- Monitor tooling condition and manage tooling life.
- Operate CNC Brake Press machinery according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks using measuring and monitoring equipment.
- Complete required production and quality paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain production standards while ensuring quality workmanship.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

- Ability to work with digital programming and machine controls.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection processes.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Ability to safely work around heavy production equipment.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while employed through a temporary agency.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. upon direct full-time hire.
- Annual vision screening required.
