Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - Ardent Health.

Additional Details:
All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

Med/surg, MS/Tele, Colostomy care, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, HFNC, nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, tracheostomy mangement, wound care.

Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur Evac, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Insulin, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
Required Credentials: License/State , Government-Issued Photo : ACLS, BLS - AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend shifts per contract:
Half of scheduled shifts.
Floating Requirements: Float Required to units of equal or lesser acuity.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
