- Seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic NICU team!

** Travel position with flexibility
- ** Experience
Required:
** Minimum of 2 years in NICU
- ** Shift:
** Day, 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:00)
- ** Patient Ratios:
** 1:3 for Days, Nights, and Weekends
- ** Charting System:
** Must have experience with Epic
- *
* Certifications:
** - BLS - NRP - STABLE (preferred)
- ** Previous Charge
Experience:
** Preferred
- ** Patient Types Handled:** - Neonates < 24-28 weeks - Neonates 29-34 weeks - Neonates > 34 weeks
- ** Patient Care Areas:** - Gastrointestinal feedings (bottle, breast, gavage) - Infectious Disease management with isolation precautions/PPE - IV therapy including arterial line management and central line care - Management of neonatal conditions such as:
- Respiratory Distress/Failure - Sepsis - Hyperbilirubinemia - Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome
- ** Work Environment:** - NICU III - 9 bed unit with potential expansion to 16 beds - Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy
- ** Orientation:
** 28 hours, tailored based on experience
- ** Floating
Required:
** Yes, including Well Baby
- ** Pre-Approved Time Off:
** 1 request per contract
- ** Daily Census:
** 7 patients, with 0 visits per day
