RN - NICU

We are seeking an experienced NICU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a level III NICU caring for neonates and infants. The unit provides a range of services including retinopathy of prematurity exams and donor breast milk for specified patient populations. The nurse will be responsible for managing care in a busy unit with a patient ratio of 1:3 during day shifts and will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

• Provide nursing care to neonates and infants, including those with respiratory distress, sepsis, and neonatal abstinence syndrome.
• Administer IV medications and manage arterial and central lines.
• Perform assessments and monitor patient progress in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with lactation consultants and peer counselors for breastfeeding support.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Epic charting system.

• 3 years of NICU nursing experience required.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• This position does not accept local candidates residing in specific counties.
