Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant)
UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full‑time Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient cardiology team at UT Health Tyler.
Position OverviewInpatient cardiology team; variable schedule; opportunity to work with 15–20 cardiologists and 8 advanced practice providers.
Schedule- Variable schedule: 4–10 hour shifts/week or 3–12 hour shifts/week; flexibility to work 5–8 hour shifts, days, evenings, or weekends.
- 1 weekend call rotation every 7–8 weeks.
- Extra shifts compensated.
- Inpatient only.
- Support cardiologists by taking consults for inpatients.
- Assist with patient discharges.
- Assist with transfers.
- Rounding on patients when called upon.
- Oversee stress tests.
- Answer questions from nursing floors.
- Base salary.
- Potential eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
