Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced registered nurse for a Labor and Delivery position. The role involves providing high-quality maternal care in a fast-paced hospital environment during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery units.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures following clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in Epic charting system.
• Ensure compliance with all certifications and hospital policies during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or compact license at the time of submission.
• Have at least 2 years of recent experience in a labor and delivery setting.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Have traveled experience preferred and be familiar with Epic charting.
• Be able to work night shifts (6 pm - 6 am) and adhere to travel compliance rules.
