Precision Spine Care is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Research Nurse Manager to lead our growing Clinical Research Department in Tyler, Texas. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the research program, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff development, maintaining sponsor relationships, and supporting the successful execution of clinical trials.
The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with extensive clinical research experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for advancing healthcare through research excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Research Department.
Supervise, mentor, and train research staff while ensuring appropriate workload distribution.
Negotiate research contracts with sponsors, vendors, and healthcare partners.
Oversee study budgets, invoicing, accounts payable, and revenue tracking.
Manage IRB submissions, continuing reviews, amendments, and study closures.
Coordinate site initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry across electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
Maintain regulatory documentation and ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study protocols.
Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsor and FDA audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
Collaborate with physicians, sponsors, ancillary service providers, and company leadership to support research initiatives.
Oversee investigational product accountability, temperature monitoring, and study-related operational processes.
Meet regularly with Principal Investigators to review study progress and ensure appropriate oversight.
Foster strong relationships with sponsors, physicians, patients, and industry partners.
QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; BSN preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of five (5) years of professional nursing experience.
Five (5) years of clinical research experience preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP guidelines, IRB processes, and clinical trial management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic clinical research systems.
Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Work Environment &Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
May occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity, and hearing within normal range.
Ability to work under deadlines, manage competing priorities, and occasionally work irregular hours.
Frequent exposure to clinical environments, including communicable diseases, medicinal preparations, ionizing radiation, and other healthcare‑related conditions.
