American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical‑Surgical ICU position requiring a TX or compact license and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

• Medical‑Surgical ICU setting in a 16‑bed unit
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift, 3x12‑hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred by the unit

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS and PALS certifications preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible:
  Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto‑approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
