RN, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse

Surgical RN (Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, Urology)

This position requires a schedule of 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call requirements of 1-2 shifts every six weeks.

Join our healthcare team as a Surgical RN specializing in various surgical fields including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology. This role requires a minimum of 1.5 years of experience and a preference for candidates with travel experience. This position involves using the Epic charting system and performing in diverse surgical settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the surgical unit.
• Assist in various surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize the Epic charting system accurately for patient documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of surgical nursing experience required.
• Required expertise in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology.
• Preferred experience with Da Vinci Robots, endovascular procedures, or ophthalmic surgeries.
• Current and active state or compact nursing license required.
