Providence Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing, Tyler, TX offers full‑time Certified Medication Aide positions. The role includes administering oral and topical medications, under physician orders and licensed nurse supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and following all state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.

Qualifications:

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State‑approved medication administration certification.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
