Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical ICU

Shift: 3 x 12-hour nights - Weekend Coverage:
Yes — 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period

Requirements: 2 years of experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred State or Compact license required at the time of submittal

Skills:

Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring: arterial lines Titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips Central line and PICC care; IV starts/maintenance Blood product administration; ABG interpretation Dysrhythmia recognition/management

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a medical-surgical ICU setting. Monitor and manage patients' critical conditions, including ventilator support and hemodynamic status. Administer medications, including titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips, as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and charts using the Epic system. Assist in post-operative care and manage patients recovering from cardiac and neurosurgical procedures.

Orientation: 36 hours Requested Time Off (RTO) must be listed at submittal Residence restrictions apply—certain counties not eligible for travelers. Previous facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as travelers. Vaccination status for COVID-19 and Flu is required.
