RN, Surgical Assistant, RN Nurse

Surgical RN

This position requires a 4x10 hour shift from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off and 1-2 call shifts every 6 weeks.

We are seeking a Surgical RN with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience, including travel experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology.

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the surgical unit.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
• Orthopedic and Urologic robotic surgeries
• Thyroidectomy and Prostatectomy
• Participate in post-operative care and patient education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• At least 1.5 years of experience in a Surgical nursing role.
• Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology specialties is required.
• Charting experience with Epic is required.
• Preferred:
  Experience with Davinci Robots and endovascular surgeries.
