RN, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse

Surgical Services Registered Nurse

Day shift from 06:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday. On-call required for 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks.

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Services Registered Nurse with experience in orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgeries. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Epic charting system and accustomed to a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in surgical nursing.
• Experience in orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgeries required.
• Experience with Da Vinci Robots and endovascular procedures is preferred.
• Current state or compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of application.
