Travel Nurse - RN - Operating Room

Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment.

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms, ensuring readiness of instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning, safety, and comfort during surgeries.
• Maintain sterile technique, monitor patient condition, and document care.
• Support surgical team with instruments, supplies, and support to ensure efficient procedures.
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, and transport accurately.
• Participate in room cleaning, restocking, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uphold patient safety and care standards.
• Perform related duties within scope of practice, demonstrating critical thinking and professionalism.

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or OR Nursing Certification (CNOR).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, technical, and motor skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment, remain stationary, and assist in procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and ensure patient safety.
