UT Health Athens Cardiology Physician Assistant; or Nurse Practitioner

UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant (or Nurse Practitioner) to join our cardiology team at UT Health Athens and our Cardiovascular Clinic.

• 2-5 years of cardiology experience required
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.
  
  -5:30 p.m.;
  Friday, 8:00 a.m.
  
  -12:00 p.m.
• Patient load: 15-20 patients per day
• Split schedule between UT Health Athens in the mornings and the Cardiology Clinic in the afternoons
• Inpatient responsibilities include performing consults, evaluating ED patients, and overseeing stress tests
• Outpatient responsibilities include evaluating new and established patients with cardiac conditions and performing comprehensive history and physical examinations
• Additional shifts are available and compensated
• Collaborate with two cardiologists
