Emergency Department – Emergency

Schedule:

Shift: 3 x 12-hour nights Weekend coverage: every other weekend

Assignment Details:
Daily census: 34 Visits per day: 32 Beds/rooms: 14 beds / 14 rooms Orientation: 24 hours

Requirements:
Years of experience: 3 Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC EMR:
Epic required Patient ratio experience: 3:1

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients. Manage ventilator care and maintenance for ventilated patients. Administer IV access, blood products, and IV vasopressors. Recognize and manage dysrhythmias and interpret ABGs. Conduct procedural sedation monitoring, triage, and trauma/ortho care. Perform phlebotomy and general ED procedures.

Compliance / Notes:
State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal. All requested time off must be listed at time of submittal. Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Orientation modules to be completed onsite; modules are non-billable.
