ICU Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care in a Level I Trauma ICU setting, focusing on critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and deliver compassionate patient care.

• Assess patient conditions regularly to identify critical changes and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Document patient status, treatments, and response accurately in Epic electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Maintain patient safety standards, including compliance with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Pals.
• Respond to emergent situations promptly, providing life-saving interventions in a trauma ICU environment.

• Hold a valid and current registered nursing license in the state of practice.
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Trauma ICU or similar critical care unit.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic charting systems.
• Possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS;
  Pals and TNCC preferred.
• Be able to manage patient ratios of 1:2 and adapt to float assignments across ICU, IMC, and Tele units.
