Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Medical Surgical/Tele Travel Nurse Opportunity

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient health, administer treatments, and ensure optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and observe for any changes in patient status.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical/Tele unit preferred.
• BLS certification required; NIHSS certification desirable.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6 effectively.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with adult patient populations with cardiac and general medical needs.
