Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Specialized Nursing Care Position

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled interventions and monitoring. This role requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and observe for any changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care effectively.
• Document patient information and care activities thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU, PCU, or stepdown nursing experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Epic charting and electronic medical records systems.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients efficiently.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
