Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU
This position requires a night shift schedule consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts, specifically from 19:00 to 07:00.
This is a 13-week contract position.
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting. This role involves working with critically ill patients and requires the ability to manage complex medical situations. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Manage life-support equipment and monitoring devices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting preferred.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
- Current RN license required.
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS. - Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
