Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on a 12-hour day shift. This role involves managing a diverse patient population in a telemetry-capable unit with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compassionate nursing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions within a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Document patient progress accurately using Epic electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, certification, and travel guidelines for staffing.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Complete all required onboarding modules and compliance training within specified time frames.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in state or compact license at the time of submittal.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, preferably with telemetry skills.
• Proficiency in Epic charting software.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
