RN - CVICU

This position requires a 3x12-hour night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.

We are seeking a skilled CVICU Registered Nurse with ECMO experience who will float to the cardiac stepdown unit as needed. The average daily census is 7 patients, with a patient ratio of 1:2. The position necessitates expertise in various critical care procedures and protocols.

• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage patients with multisystem organ failure.
• Provide care for patients on ECMO and intra-aortic balloon pumps.
• Monitor pulmonary artery lines and manage arterial lines, central lines, and PICC lines.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CVICU required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is mandatory.
