Neuro ICU (Intensive Care Unit Neurological) - for a healthcare professional in a neurological intensive care setting. This position involves providing specialized care for adult patients with neurological conditions, including post-craniotomy, traumatic brain injury, stroke management, and other neurocritical cases. The assignment is located at a healthcare facility and requires a dedicated and experienced Neuro ICU nurse.
Job Details- Schedule:
Nights, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week. Position begins on 10/06/2026 and concludes on 01/05/2027. - Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience in ICU Neurological settings, with certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Valid state or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ICU/IMC/Tele units, knowledge of charting systems such as Epic, and experience with neuro patient care. Neuro experience preferred, along with previous charge experience and patient ratio experience of 2 patients per nurse. - Additional Information:
Float rotation may be required across ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed. The unit handles adult neuro patients with a daily census of 14 beds, utilizing interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and more. Orientation includes onsite modules completed within 48 hours of contract signing, typically lasting 4-6 hours for registered nurses and 2-3 hours for allied staff.
Compliance rules regarding state or county restrictions apply, and all licensure and onboarding requirements must be completed timely.
