LPN, LPN​/LVN, Occupational Health Nurse

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions based on SOPs and follow emergency SOPs, including development of standing orders and transport to emergency care.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance regarding donor safety and eligibility.
• Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation requirements, referencing occupational health and EHS guidance.
• Serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
• Current state license/certification (LPN or LVN).
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• State‑licensed basic IV therapy competency.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

$24.32 – $33.44 per hour

The hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual wage may depend on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements.
