A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Lab Technician
.
You’ll work side‑by‑side with chemists and engineers, playing a key part in evaluating refrigerants, lubricants, and advanced materials. From running experiments to operating sophisticated analytical instruments, you’ll help bring projects to life through precision testing and data‑driven insights.
What You’ll Do- Be the Experiment Architect:
Plan, organize, and execute daily lab experiments—both routine and exploratory. Take ownership of your tasks and help keep projects moving smoothly. - Turn Data Into Discovery:
Gather, organize, analyze, and compile experimental data that supports key research objectives. - Work With Advanced Technology:
Prepare standards and samples using established methods while operating top‑tier analytical equipment like HPLC, GC, ICP, GC‑MS, and more. - Ensure Accuracy and Compliance:
Follow defined test methods and documentation practices to deliver reliable, high‑quality results. - Communicate Like a Pro:
Share updates with teammates and leadership, multitask effectively, and collaborate in a dynamic lab‑testing environment. - Drive Continuous Improvement:
Support enhancements to documentation, workflows, and lab processes to help streamline operations. - Troubleshoot and Innovate:
Work closely with the chemistry and materials teams to optimize procedures and resolve issues—keeping equipment and facilities running at their best. - Champion Safety:
Maintain excellent housekeeping habits and uphold a strong culture of lab safety and chemical hygiene.
- Experience:
Entry level - Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree - Preferred Field:
Chemistry or related technical discipline - Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
- A strong foundation in chemistry or materials science.
- Sharp attention to detail and a conscientious, organized work style.
- Familiarity with destructive and non‑destructive testing methods—experience with all instruments isn’t required.
- Excellent problem‐solving abilities paired with clear written and verbal communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working independently when needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Frequent walking, sitting, and use of hands for computers and lab tools.
- Occasional standing and lifting/moving items up to 25 pounds.
- Close vision and focus adjustment capabilities.

- A mix of office and laboratory settings with moderate noise levels.
- In‑lab work requires safety shoes and safety glasses at all times.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.58 per hour.
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
