Klüber Lubrication NA LP
Support the R&D Manager in fulfilling R&D objectives. Work independently to achieve results on R&D Projects. Responsible for developing new products to meet customer specifications and assisting sales engineers with lab testing as needed. This includes the research about new raw materials and their implementation, the investigation of test methods and standards as well as collaborative work with the marketing colleagues to identify future trends.
R&DChemist Responsibilities
- Use efficient techniques, like DoE for optimizing formulation concepts
- Prepare developmental samples of mainly oils for R&D projects
- Keep organized and detailed records of laboratory work and provide reports
- Occasional formal and informal presentations to Management and/or customers
- BS or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in an R&D environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
