Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll and use these features
• Handle returns per policy and escalate to Leaders as needed while following procedures
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours, remaining available to assist guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and returns with compliance to laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office functions as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance
• Flexible schedule; reliable attendance required
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift
• Occasional exposure to varying temperatures and elements, including Drive-Up and carryout duties
