Kitchen Designer

Overview

Designer - Kitchen/Bath at The Home Depot. Designers support three store priorities:
Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. Designers provide fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers, welcome them to the store, assess kitchen and/or bath project needs, provide showroom tours, arrange for kitchen and/or bath measurements, meet with customers to review room designs, and make purchasing recommendations. They support In Stock initiatives by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking as necessary.

They support Store Appearance by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a shopping environment that is appealing and safe. By supporting these priorities, Designers drive sales to support department and store goals.

• Welcome customers and assess kitchen and/or bath project needs.
• Provide showroom tours, set up kitchen and/or bath measurements, and review room designs with customers.
• Make purchasing recommendations based on customer needs.
• Monitor and restock samples and brochures to support In Stock initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, appealing store environment by ensuring displays and showrooms are well-presented.
• Contribute to achieving store and department goals through sales support.
