Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home on average. Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.

Schedule: Monday–Friday. Weekends are not required.

Role

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role you will execute a wide range of in‑store tasks, including, but not limited to:

  • Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps.
  • Performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs.
  • Following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives.
  • Using mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently.
  • Maintaining strong communication and organizational skills while managing store‑level relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond and maintain consistent communication with field services management within 24 hours.
  • Keep availability updated and accurate.
  • Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys before leaving the job site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures remain fully functional.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and team installations involving 2+ people.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines for accurate time‑card submission and daily reporting of anomalies.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate and complete training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
Scheduling & Planning
  • Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends and early‑morning hours, or holidays based on store/client requirements.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
Project Execution
  • Follow all directives as provided, execute fully and completely.
  • Work closely within the shared services team to ensure goals, identify improvement opportunities, and drive solutions.
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the shared services team, local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and communication across teams.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership while representing the company.
  • Set a high standard for behavior, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring respectful communication.
  • Work across all aspects of the company and through cross‑functional processes to ensure alignment and operational success.
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continuously improved upon according to established KPIs.
  • Be open to providing and receiving feedback.
Qualifications Age / Eligibility
  • Must be 18 years or older (due to insurance requirements).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Availability
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Early morning and late‑night availability as needed.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
Physical Abilities
  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet in height.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
Adaptability
  • Adjust to varying tasks and work environments.
Communication Skills
  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email to coordinate tasks and provide updates.
  • Use a smartphone for clock‑in/out, photo uploading, app downloads, and internet connectivity.
  • Respond within 24 hours for consistent communication with field services management.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience Preferred
  • Installation and merchandising experience.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
