Position: (USA) Stocking 1 Coach

Position Summary

Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts and provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions. Model exceptional customer‑service standards, support store community outreach, and build high‑performing teams through hiring, training, coaching and recognition.

Ensure compliance with company policies and foster a culture of belonging and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop teams through training, active listening, store touring and feedback.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all associate levels regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Model One Best Way customer‑service standards and support store community outreach initiatives.
  • Resolve customer needs, complaints and issues through action plans.
  • Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring merchandise presentation and operational processes.
  • Provide supervision, training, mentoring and recognition to hourly associates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, mission, values, ethics and open‑door policy.
  • Build high‑performing teams that embrace differences and promote belonging.
  • Act with integrity, maintain highest ethical standards and model Walmart values.
  • Serve customers and members, prioritize data‑driven decisions and balance short‑ and long‑term priorities.
  • Strive for excellence by driving continuous improvements, adopting new technologies, and supporting change.
Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) – based on location
  • Complex Structure – based on external factors that create challenges

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of college, OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience, OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific criminal background check (CBC) and firearms authorized training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements, successful completion of a current state‑issued certificate of eligibility.
  • Associates required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing responsibilities.
